A community is born!

It has been a busy 24 hours in the life of SydEduTech Entrepreneurs with the community getting  a real jolt forward thanks to last night’s speaker, Mick Liubinskas. Mick Co-Founded the Sydney startup incubator Pollenizer and dreams of a day when Sydney is seen as the world leader in educational technology.

This is the official blog of the community and was put in place by Aidan Nutall with the first post by yours truly, Rosie Williams. Given that I am hard at work launching my own educational startup at InfoAus.net, finding a community to inform, encourage and support my efforts is a huge relief.

I was really excited to hear from attendees at last night’s meetup who had experience in creating successful educational startups.

Christine Woodland, CEO & Co-Founder of iknnect, a project learning tool for school students will be sharing her experience on the importance of partnering with other organisations to product test and engage prospective users.

Terry Hilsberg, a successful entrepreneur with several educational startups under his belt will also be contributing case studies based on his vast experience.

Thanks must go to meetup organiser Atul Pandey. If you are interested in working or investing in or with educational startups, educational data and information please come along to the Meetup group or find us at one of the contacts below:
